CrossCreators AR Creators Challenge Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction
a. This document outlines the terms and conditions governing the CrossCreators AR Creators Challenge (“The Competition”). By entering the Competition, you (“The Participant”) agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

b. The promoter is CrossCreators, whose registered office is at 251 Little Falls Drive, Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware 19808.

2. Eligibility
a. The Competition is open to all registered ‘Creator’ users of CrossCreators. If not yet registered, The Participant must sign up as a Creator. Employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives of CrossCreators, its parent company, affiliates, and advertising agencies, and members of their immediate families are not eligible to participate.

3. Competition Start Date, Duration, and Winner Announcement
a. The competition is scheduled to begin at 00:00 GMT+4 (Georgian Time) on Tuesday, 6th June 2023. It will run for a duration of 45 days, concluding on Monday, 31st July 2023, at 23:59 GMT+4.
b. Winners of the competition will be announced within two weeks from the end of the competition

4. How to Enter
a. Participants are required to submit their AR projects to the designated submission page on the CrossCreators platform. Multiple entries are permitted.

5. Themes
a. Submitted projects must be related to one of the following themes: Fun, Beauty, Automotive, Fashion, Games, Art, Education, Travel & Tourism, Architecture, Food and beverages, Ecommerce, Hospitality, Retail, Real estate, Jewellery, Sports, Tech, Entertainment, Furniture, Banking and Finance.

6. Judging Criteria
a. The top three projects with the most likes on the platform at the end of the competition will win the respective prizes. Each project must have a minimum of 50 likes to be considered for the prizes.

7. Prizes
a. The prizes for the Competition are as follows:

  • Grand Prize for the most liked project – $3000
  • Second Place for the second most liked project – $1500
  • Third Place for the third most liked project – $500

b. Winners will be notified via the email associated with their CrossCreators account. Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of notification, or an alternate winner will be selected.

8. Announcement of Winnings
a. Upon being selected as a winner, participants agree to announce their winnings publicly as per the instructions provided by CrossCreators. The announcement shall be made through a post on their respective CrossCreators platform accounts or any other communication channel designated by CrossCreators for such purpose.

b. The announcement shall include acknowledgment of the participant’s achievement in winning the CrossCreators AR Creators Challenge and mention the prize received. Participants shall ensure that the announcement is made within five (5) business days from the date of notification of their winnings.

c. Failure to announce the winnings within the stipulated timeframe may result in the participant’s disqualification, and an alternate winner may be selected at CrossCreators’ sole discretion.

d. Participants understand that the announcement of winnings is a mandatory requirement to receive their prizes and that CrossCreators may use the announcement for promotional and marketing purposes.

9. Copyright & Usage Rights
a. Participants retain the rights to their submitted projects. By entering the competition, participants grant CrossCreators a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and publish the projects on its platform and social media channels, with credit given to the participant.

10. Disqualification
a. CrossCreators reserves the right to disqualify any participant who is found to be violating the terms and conditions, or tampering with the operation of the Competition.

b. Any participant who utilizes ‘invalid traffic’ will be disqualified.

c. Invalid traffic includes any clicks or impressions that may artificially inflate an projects likes and impressions. Invalid traffic covers intentionally fraudulent traffic as well as accidental clicks.

Invalid traffic includes, but is not limited to:

  • Clicks or impressions generated by participants creating multiple accounts to click ‘like’ on their projects
  • Tampering with the ‘like’ system to generate duplicate likes
  • Automated clicking tools or traffic sources, robots or other deceptive software

11. Changes to Competition
a. CrossCreators reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Competition at any time.

12. Liability
a. Participants assume all risk of damaged, lost, late, incomplete, or illegible entries. CrossCreators, its affiliates, partners, and promotion and advertising agencies are not responsible for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects in part or whole, delays in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for any technical or non-technical network, telecommunication, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind.

13. Privacy
a. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion may be used by CrossCreators and its affiliates for the purposes of managing the competition.

14. Jurisdiction
a. The Competition is governed by the laws of the country where CrossCreators is registered. All disputes will be resolved under these laws.

b. By entering the competition, participants agree to these terms and conditions.

15. Restrictions on Content
a. Entries must be consistent with the reputation of the CrossCreators platform, and must not include or promote: nudity or pornography; explicit, graphic, or excessive sexual activity; crude, vulgar, or offensive language; hate speech, derogatory language, or inflammatory content; harassment, intimidation, or bullying; violence; illegal activities or substances; or any other offensive, obscene, or inappropriate content. CrossCreators reserves the right to disqualify any entries that it deems inappropriate or in violation of the competition’s terms and conditions.

16. Dispute Resolution
a. In the event of a dispute arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions, or your participation in the Competition, the parties shall attempt to resolve the dispute through amicable negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved by negotiation, the dispute will be resolved by the competent courts of the country where CrossCreators is registered.

17. Compliance with Platform Rules
a. All competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to CrossCreators must comply with the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy of the CrossCreators platform. Failure to comply may result in disqualification of the entry and forfeiture of any claim to the prize.

18. Warranty
a. By submitting an entry, the participant represents and warrants that they own all rights to the submitted project, that the project is their original work, and that it does not infringe any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights. The participant also represents and warrants that no laws were broken in the creation and submission of the project. Any entry found to be in violation of this clause will be disqualified immediately.
